The Archdiocese of Boston has lowered the age for the Sacrament of Confirmation from 10th grade to 8th grade to help strengthen 8th graders to handle the demands and challenges of adolescence by making the grace of this Sacrament available to them.
Over the next three years, NCC will implement the new age change as part of our two-year Confirmation program (Confirmation 1 & 2). Please refer to the transition timeline below and register your child for the appropriate Confirmation preparation session.
