Confirmation Program Information

Welcome to the Natick Catholic Community Confirmation information page. Our mission is to create a thriving parish community where young Catholics can personally encounter Jesus, fully engage with their faith, and joyously bring the love of Christ into the world.

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

NCC’s Confirmation preparation is a two-year program where we explore the fundamental truths of our Catholic faith, prepare to follow Christ, and share in the joyful participation of the Eucharist at Mass together.

FORMAT 

Confirmation 1 & 2 candidates meet one Sunday afternoon/month at St. Linus Church from 

3:45-6 PM which includes attending the 5 PM Mass. Families are highly encouraged to join us at Mass.

CURRICULUM

Our Confirmation 1 curriculum utilizes Alpha’s Youth Series with Catholic Context to encounter Jesus while our Confirmation 2 utilizes Chosen: Your Journey to Confirmation to provide a thorough knowledge and understanding of the Catholic faith, address and answer fundamental questions about life, and challenge candidates to personally commit to following Christ. 

CONFIRMATION AGE CHANGE

In 2024, the Archdiocese of Boston lowered the age for the Sacrament of Confirmation to 8th grade. You can learn more about the decision here.
